Newly Detected Trojans Plaguing the Internet

 Trojan-program

Ever heard of Tojan.Spy.YEK? There’s a low possibility of you knowing about this malicious program. It is a newly discovered Trojan that computer security specialist BitDefender is touting off as something highly dangerous.
This so-called serious “Virtual enemy” has got the looks of taking down corporate sector platforms without any hassles. BitDefender officials said that Tojan.Spy.YEK sniff for critical data that is stored within an organization’s servers. The files are sent back to the attacker, to give him/her a microscopic view of the target organization’s secret information.
From the looks of it, Tojan.Spy.YEK looks like a work of a complete virus development team. Maybe some lone organization created it to spy on rival companies. At BitDefender HQs, Octavian Minea and Doina Cosovan said, “With the rising number of threats in the online security community, the latest Tojan.Spy.YEK spy malware is one of its kind.”
The malware researchers further said that the said Trojan doesn’t act like a virus. Its primary script is just like any other normal program, which is why antivirus software doesn’t detect it that easily. Researchers have found an encrypted .Dll file in the Tojan.Spy.YEK package that automatically settles its roots within the Windows\System32\ folder.
“If this malware bonds with Explorer.Exe file, nothing can prevent it from sending information to the attackers” – said Minea. Furthermore, the spy malware is known to have a special Backdoor Spyware, “The backdoor element helps this program to forge its identity as a critical system service tool. This way, it doesn’t get detected, while sending information to outside sources.”
